Springboard/Warm-up Activity
Project an array of pictures of known people who are ~30 years old (celebrities, teachers, etc.) Daily writing prompt on the board: “Describe yourself as you’d like to be at the age of 30. Include family, vehicle, home, work, and play.” Each student has a computer, and they type their answer on a new Word document, saved as “[Name] 30 Profile” in the class folder on the school server. After three minutes, have students share for two more minutes. [KNOWLEDGE/RECEIVING]
